Health Related Technologies
Overview
Health Related Technologies seeks to offer a curriculum that provides a sound, broad knowledge base and employability skills that will prepare students for post secondary education. This is a program of planned courses that academically and clinically prepares students to assist in allied health diagnosis and rehabilitation. Some of the courses covered include: basic health skills; body structure& function; computer literacy; A&P chemistry; microbiology; biology and medical terminology.

Career Outlook
Health care is the last economic frontier. Health Care is the 2nd largest employer in the USA. Upon graduation, students will have the option of pursuing employment as a technician or an aide, or continuing on with post -secondary education. They could also choose to earn while they learn, through Co-Operative work opportunities. Some occupations available after further training include:
